I am Tim, founder of STONEClad. I am a proud native of ”limestone country” in beautiful Southern Indiana and have worked in the architectural stone industry my entire professional career. I spent my first 20 years at Indiana Limestone Company, where I was a part of the entire cut stone process, from the quarry to installation. Most of my time there was spent managing dimensional stone projects, working with architects, engineers, and contractors, and generating shop drawings. I learned early on that excellent stone drafters play a critical role in a project’s success.

While at Indiana Limestone Company, we often needed independent drafting resources to help when timelines were tight, and the workload exceeded our drafting department’s capacity. Finding capable stone drafters was a constant challenge. That’s why I started STONEClad. I wanted to offer building stone fabricators and the industry at large, not just a drafting service but a comprehensive technical resource. One that is built solidly on knowledge, experience, and passion for natural stone in architecture.

Since STONEClad’s founding in 2019, we have formed strong partnerships with many of the premier natural stone fabricators in the country, including full bed limestone and granite fabricators, as well as lightweight stone panel manufactures. I am delighted to have provided the drafting support for stone facades and hardscapes on many of our nation’s most beautiful buildings. I have participated in everything from quarrying the raw material to palletizing the finished pieces, pre-construction design meetings to field measuring, and ultimately, admiring the beautifully crafted finished building.
